The OPACKGROUP, “The sustainable innovator”, is aimed at enabling its stakeholders to be sustainable, innovative and successful.
Vision
The OPACKGROUP is a reliable manufacturer and partner for high-quality, specialist plastic and paper packaging and films that supplies its products based on continuity and long-term partnerships, aimed at enabling its stakeholders to be sustainable, innovative and successful. The 7 manufacturers within the OPACKGROUP develop various high-quality packaging solutions together with all their partners, in a unique chain.
Corporate social responsibility has been the main starting point of the OPACKGROUP’s business operations for decades. Like no one else, we are aware of the social responsibility we have, as a company and as a knowledge partner. This means that sustainable production is a top priority.
Our sustainable vision and our innovations determine our policy that we proudly convey through our slogan: “The sustainable innovator”.
Key Values
Our sustainability strategy focusses on creating IMPACT: Innovation, Members, Partners, Ambassadorship, Climate-impact and Transparency.
Innovation: Sustainability is the key focus of our innovation programme. We work with the Rethink Plastics strategy with as themes Re-duce, Re-use, Re-cycle, Re-design and Re-new.
Members: We invest in the development of our eMployees with new education and training programs as part of the OPACKGROUP Academy (OKAY).
Partners: Mutual, long term relationships with our suppliers and customers is key in driving innovation and customer service.
Ambassadorship: To drive (sustainable) change and continuous improvement of the packaging industry as a whole we are consciously investing in board membership. Hence we are supplying about 20 board positions in branch and other organisations to promote and improve the value-chain cooperation.
Climate Impact: We monitor and reduce our climate impact. Examples include the use of green electricity, the efforts to reduce energy in processes and all new company cars are electric or plug in hybrid.
Transparency: We are transparent on company results: our sustainability achievements are monitored externally, validated in our quality certificates.
